Jay-z ft B.I.C – Glory ( dedicated to His new Born Blue Ivy )

9 01 2012

Rapper Jay-Z released a new song, “Glory,” dedicated to Blue Ivy, his baby daughter with wife Beyonce who was born over the weekend.

The song is available on the Roc Nation website, with a photo of the Empire State Building lit up in blue above (it was lit in honor of the New York Giants over the weekend).

In the song, Jay-Z raps, “Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real/Baby I’d paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you.”

The lyrics become even more personal: Jay-Z then raps, to his daughter, “You was made in Paris, and mama woke up the next day and shot an album package/Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/we was afraid you’d disappear but no, baby, you magic.”
